Saving Banksy Toronto Exhibit

FreeThe Saving Banksy Toronto Exhibit, showcases Banksy’s most controversial and sought-after piece. Haight Street Rat. It will be displayed at Yorkville Village from June 6-11. This exhibit features a few other Banksy pieces, along with other notable street artists. The free exhibit is presented by Aurora and curated by Substance Art Collective.
About The Haight Street Rat
Haight Street Rat is the focus of critically acclaimed Netflix documentary, Saving Banksy. A film that shadows art collector Brian Greif’s attempt to save the famous piece of art from destruction and the auction block. The piece has showcased in Los Angeles and San Francisco. And is on a global tour despite offers well into the millions from private collectors to buy the beret-wearing rat. Greif continues to turn down offers due to his belief that street art is to be shared with the public.
Saving Banksy Toronto Exhibit Extras
The Saving Banksy Toronto Exhibit will showcase exclusive Banksy pieces for sale. In partnership with the City of Toronto’s StreetARToronto (StART) Program, local street artists including kevkav, Alexander Bacon, Hello Kirsten, Anthony Ricciardi and Dani Cooperman will display original works as a celebration of the growing street art movement.
