I am originally from Bordeaux, however, I don’t get to France nearly as often as I should. So when a family function came up in Paris a couple of weeks ago, I jumped on the opportunity to go. What an amazing 3 days!!
While I was there I ate fantastic food – everything from Petrossian Smoked Salmon that tasted like butter to Foie Gras to freshly baked croissants – daily. Champagne and wine was flowing and my father quickly realized that I need to visit my native country a little more often as I snapped pictures like a proper tourist. We stopped at bistros for champers and olives regularly – cause you just have to when you’re there!
The getaway went by so fast, I questioned if it actually happened while eating a croissant at Charles de gaulle Airport on my way back to Toronto. But even at the airport, I thought, why does everything taste better in Paris???
I HAD to capture one of my fabulous meals on camera.. so check out my dinner with my dad at a very popular restaurant called Pershing Hall. If you do happen to be visiting this beautiful city, check them out – they also have a boutique hotel.
