Who knew there was a Grand Prix for CHEESE???? I thought it was only found in the F1…. But no, the Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) have been hosting the Canadian Cheese Grand Prix since 1998 and with great success. This year there were 203 entries from dairy farmers across the country, 17 category winners and 1 grand champion: Louis d’Or firm and organic cheese.
Upon arrival at the Palais Royale, I was quite taken aback at the amount of people invited, notably impressive chefs, foodies and medias. This event is serious business! And what a great event it was – lots of cheese, lots of wine and lots more cheese!
Here are some highlights of the evening – a bit of a long vlog but only because there was so much to cover!! Thanks to all my foodie friends who commented on all the delicious cheese we were invited to taste.
