Toronto’s real estate market has yet another first! That sky high bridge that you may have glanced at and always wondered what it was… for the last 8-years that is. It’s a first in Canada–second in North America, similar to one in NYC–dubbed “Bridge Suites” by Concord. Which hits the market today as the highest suspended residence in Canada for a whopping $4.5 million dollars!
This 40-metre structure was built into Parade’s Skybridge at the foot of Canoe Landing Park and took over 14-hours to lift into place. Home to 2 separate luxury condo suites fit for royalty–no really.
Here’s a first look inside the “Bridge Suites”:
The furnished suite is gorgeous to say the least. The focal point of every room: the jaw dropping Toronto views. This mega Skybridge suite features floor-to-ceiling windows facing North into the city, and South overlooking Lake Ontario. You’d literally be able to watch every sunrise AND sunset living in this swanky condo. Whether it’s from the rooftop, living room or the breathtaking master bath (with a $4.5M view)!
The 4,168-square feet of living space spans 3 floors and includes 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, dining room, den, piano room and much more. Oh and did we mention the additional 823-square feet of terrace space that is larger than most average downtown condos?
From the moment we walked into the suite we knew this was going to be the home of a VIP who loves to entertain. A perfect second home for an international celebrity looking to buy in Toronto, or a big Toronto name looking for a flashy new pad in the core. The terrace and bar area are to die for…and the suite even has two separate private entrances–perfect for arriving late to dinner party (remember those) while help sets up on the main floor.
Designed by LIV Design Studio, the space is unique and modern. The finishes are timeless — and included in the price ;). “This project was unlike any other due to the true uniqueness of the space,” said Olivia Lam, Principal, LIV Design Studio. “The architecture is so unique that creating the right balance of program and timelessness was a welcome challenge.”
Some of our favourite features of the suite are the ultimate master bathroom, the outdoor entertaining space which includes a terrace bar… and the 3 car private garage. Oh ya and can we talk about all the custom closets that are actually functional! Gone are the days of crappy condo closets in this space for sure. Need a little more closet space? You could easily turn one of the extra rooms into a walk-in too.
Time is ticking. This baby won’t last long for sure. Of the two suites built by Concord inside the bridge, only one of them is hitting the market today. The reason: one has already been sold.
