Being a View the Viber can be tough sometimes. Sure we get to eat our way around the city all in the name of ‘research’ so that we can report back to our hungry audience and yes we do get to attend a plethora of openings and events where we schmooze with the locals while sipping on specialty cocktails and nibbling on fancy canapés, but there is a price to pay for all this fabulousness to ensure that one too many mini sliders doesn’t turn into one inch away from squeezing into our skinny jeans.
In order to enjoy the delicious perks of the job we have to remain active. We run, we lift, we stretch, and we downward dog all in the name of keeping fit and feeling good. I personally am a gym gal while the boss, Ms. Nicki, loves to sweat it out with a good hot yoga sesh. But although we love our daily workouts we are always on the lookout for something new to keep us motivated and to challenge ourselves. So when we were sent details on the new Equinox ad campaign it really caught our attention and here’s why…

Cheeky! If you haven’t heard of them before, Equinox is a luxury fitness club that aims to engage their members in not only fitness but in their overall well-being, offering wellness treatments alongside exercise programs. They have locations throughout the USA as well as in London and our very own Toronto. And of course a New Year is the perfect excuse to crank out a fresh campaign to help motivate the masses, many of whom use this time to jump start a new lifestyle in order to better themselves. Equinox worked with ad agency Weiden+Kennedy to show us what living a ‘more provoked life’ can really do for one’s sense of adventure.
A series of photographs from British snapper Robert Wyatt aim to show us that once we give our body the TLC that it needs, the possibilities are endless. With confidence comes courage and new-found courage can breed exhilarating moments and stories to impress at the pub for years to come.
The images show what naughty scenarios are possible when you drop your inhibitions… and your clothes. To encourage current and potential members to get in on causing some ‘trouble’ post-workout, you can share your pictures and scandalous stories using the hashtag #EquinoxMadeMeDoIt.
What do you think of the campaign? Does it make you want to get busy at the gym… or somewhere else maybe? Check it out and let us know your thoughts…
