Lululemon may be the first name on everyone’s mind when it comes to Canadian fitness clothing companies, but it turns out that the Great White North has a lot more to offer when it comes to stylish, comfortable activewear. If you want to shop local next time you pick up a sports bra or yoga pants, here’s a rundown of Canada’s top fitness brands (other than the obvious)…
Lole
Lole was born in Montreal in 2002 and has grown to be one of Canada’s largest activewear brands. At its core, the company is focused on the importance of well-being, and through each of their clothing lines they meet the needs of active, urban women.

Michi
An edgy, fashion-forward activewear brand, each of its garments are as stylish as they are utilitarian. Owner Michelle Watson designed for some of the best-known brands, including Donna Karan and Kate Spade, before launching her company. Started in New York City, all of Michi’s design and manufacturing now takes place in Toronto.
Titika
Titika was launched in Toronto in 2009. Although all of the items they produce are designed for the gym, they’re chic enough to double as streetwear. Lace inserts, draped tops, and floral leggings all prove that you don’t have to sacrifice style even when you’re getting sweaty.

Karma Activewear
With lace inserts, polka dot mesh, and a glamourous colour palette, Vancouver-based Karma’s garments might pass as everyday wear. But every piece they produce is designed to support a woman’s body through yoga, dance, and an active lifestyle.
Key Lime Athletic Wear
Though they’re based in Alberta, their products are available across the country through an online store. Founder Kristi was sick of yoga-wear that was designed to fit only the most petite bodies and has dedicated her career to creating garments for every woman.
