The convenience of quick food delivery is unlike any other, so why not extend the same to groceries? This was the thought behind the launch of Skip Express Lane by SkipTheDishes last year. They’re now continuing with expansion across the country, with the latest fulfillment centre in the GTA. The North York location makes it the fourth, with two in Toronto and the other in Etobicoke.

The company has plans to establish 38 fulfillment centres across the country in this year alone. This is predicted to create over 1,000 jobs as the delivery platform aims to get ahead when it comes to bringing household essentials and groceries straight to your doorstep. And those placing the orders will only have to wait 25 minutes or less to get their items delivered!

There are 1,500+ products that are available on the platform, which include personal care items, fresh produce and more, all at matching prices as the grocery stores. The fee for delivery starts at $1.99 or you can get free delivery for orders over $25. SkipTheDishes is also known for collaborating with local businesses to help them put their products on display, enabling customers to support local.
Skip Express Lane currently operates in Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, along with the GTA locations. The company recorded that over 70% of people who ordered through the platform just in Winnipeg, used it again for new orders.
