Toronto is a town chock full of talented folk, so it was only a matter of time before they collided and made magic happen. Facilitating this meeting of the creative minds is RENDER. RENDER: Volume 1 is a brand new performance project that will allow some of the city’s craftiest creators to showcase the abundance of talent stirring in these streets.
RENDER: Volume 1 kicks off on July 29th at Nyood with live collaborations from six diverse musicians, four visual artists and one notable chef. RENDER provides a space for creatives of different fields who may not have had the opportunity to interact with each other otherwise, a chance to collaborate in a unique way. And looking at the lineup of participants, we are definitely glad they got together. Local food fans won’t be disappointed with Rob Bragagnolo, executive chef at Marben, serving up a specially crafted, fixed course pop-up dinner. Guests will also be able to feast their eyes on the works of up-and-coming visual artists including Uber 5000, Dara Vandor, Dudeman and Stephanie Avery. Smooth sounds will be coming courtesy of an eclectic mix of musical artists such as Memorecks, Nick Moore and the Prenup, Free n Losh, Heyoka, Jason Field and Kid MK. With so much in store under one roof, and Volume 2 already in the works, the potential for the creative possibilities has RENDERed us a little speechless.
