Breakfast is served! Who doesn’t love a freaking rad pancake – and this creation by Joy the Baker takes your average pancake up a notch. Meet the Triple Berry Dutch Baby. Dutch Babies, aka German Pancakes, are an eggier version of your traditional pancakes and quite similar to Yorkshire pudding (in texture at least). Pop a mountain full of berry compote (with a few added drops of vanilla extract) on the ‘pancake’, and top it with icing sugar and cinnamon (the sweeter the better). These babies are typically served for breakfast or brunch, but we’ll take them any time of day!
If you’re looking to impress a few people over brunch, this recipe will definitely do the trick. Drizzle some chocolate sauce over top for that extra sweetness and you’re good to go!
