It’s the season to be outside and soak in the sun (socially distanced, of course) and there’s no shortage of activities! Even a daily commute via Union Station is set to be interesting from next month, with the launch of Union Boardwalk – presented by TD.
This outdoor installation can be seen by all at Union Station’s Sir John A. McDonald Plaza at Front Street from August 10 to September 25. The project is a display of Toronto artist Javid Jah’s ‘The Universe Within’, a series that explores the connection between humans and the universe.
Union Boardwalk – presented by TD was created not only to instill inspiration within Toronto residents but also to showcase a beautiful public space. It is also a part of Union’s continual efforts to express inclusion and display local talent through events. The installation is supported by TD through the TD Ready Commitment, which aims to help open doors to a more sustainable tomorrow.
Open daily, visitors are invited to walk through Union Boardwalk – Presented by TD and share their pictures and moments using #TDUnionBoardwalk #InspiredbyToronto, and tagging @torontounion.
Union Station staff and ground markers will be on-site throughout the installation to ensure that safe, social distancing measures are in place.
