This one’s for all the art enthusiasts and Picasso admirers! The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) will be presenting one of its much-awaited exhibitions next month, Picasso: Painting the Blue Period. It is also Canada’s first ever survey of Pablo Picasso’s Blue Period. It highlights the artist’s work from his early years (1901 – 1904).

Picasso: Painting the Blue Period
The exhibition is set to feature more than 100 artworks from 15 countries. It will also focus on research done on three Blue Period paintings in their respective collections. The titles are The Blue Room, Crouching Beggarwoman and The Soup. The exhibition is organized in partnership with AGO and The Phillips Collection, Washington, DC.
The sale for the single admission tickets goes live today for exhibition dates starting from October 26, 2021. It opens to AGO Members on October 6 and ticket sales are already live. The AGO Annual Passholders can begin visiting from October 9 and tickets can be purchased from today as well.
