A cheese cave is a cheese-lovers dream… but when an epic cheese cave, inside one of Toronto’s most prestigious hotels, collaborates with one of Toronto’s most celebrated cheese boutiques, it takes things to new heights. Next month on June 9th, a limited group of ticket holders will be able to experience just that: ‘Omaggio al Formaggio’ co-hosted by Afrim Pristine, a certified cheese master, best selling author, Food Network host, and more.
You won’t want to miss this one of a kind dinner tasting event
This event, dedicated to all things cheese–offering up cocktails, a 4-course cheese-centric meal, presented in the known TOCA/The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto fashion–will be nothing short of epic.
The evening will also entail a short presentation and tasting of some specialty cheeses, as well as a tour of the renowned cave, Afrim Pristine, and TOCA’s specialty restaurant chef, Horacio Macias Leon.
They will be kicking things off with a cocktail reception. A caprese salad or insalata mista for the appetizer. Followed by a cacio e pepe spaghetti or a braised veal cheek tortelli (we’re drooling just thinking about it) pasta course. With a choice of a chicken saltimbocca (which has prosciutto), grass fed striploin, or slow cooked white asparagus–truly something for everyone–for the main. Ending things off with a cheesy classic dessert offerings, with a baked pecorino cheesecake (which sounds incredible) or a cannoli. Buon appetito!
