We honestly cannot believe this, but there are still tickets available for the biggest design event of the year!
The Design Exchange is shut down until October 17th in preparation for DX Intersection, the most unique cultural design event in Canada, happening this Friday.
The theme this year is “Market,” playing off how markets are a place where people’s lives meet and intersect. So expect night markets and street markets, hosted by Lexus with food by La Carnita and Home of the Brave, and an amusement park-style raffle. There will also be a chance for you to get some truly unique items from the charity silent auction, all the proceeds of which will go to the DX Youth and Educational Programming. All of this will be to the sounds of Toronto Electronic wizards Azari and III!
And of course, every Intersection has its annual Gamechangers Award, this year presented to fashion icons Byron and Dexter Peart, better known in the fashion world as “The Twins.”
Tickets start at $150 for DX members but for those who want to get in early and have a delicious and intimate meal with the design community’s brightest, there is a VIP dinner option. Both tickets for the dinner and just the Intersection are available here.
Seriously, DX Intersection is one of the marquee events of gala season, and one you’re certain to regret missing.
