From the design firm who brought us our favourite Mexican pop-up-turned-restaurant, La Carnita, OneMethod is back in action with the launch of their first streetwear clothing line: ONEMETH. Their first collection, aptly named The Free Trade Collection, celebrates both fashion and the ever-growing relationship between Canada and our Southern neighbours, the US.
“Borders and restrictions – those things need to go. Ideas and culture and even the food we eat all seem to transcend countries and cities, so I think we need to embrace that,” said Amin Todai, CCO of OneMethod and the ONEMETH clothing line.
This new swanked up collection features six original t-shirt designs, a hat and bandana, all of which are modeled by Toronto Raptor Amir Johnson. Can you get cooler than that? The sweet showcase is a blend of both iconic national flags (Canada + America), along with famous airport codes like YYZ, JFK, MIA and more.
To celebrate the launch of ONEMETH, the agency will be hosting a swanky pop-up shop on July 2nd for a pre-sale event at 445 King West. Here’s a little insider knowledge: Those who purchase something from the pre-sale will get exclusive access to the Official Launch Party of the clothing line on July 4th at Home of the Brave (Toronto’s answer to American-style eateries).
The collection will be available for purchase online, starting July 5th.
