As Torontonians we’re lucky to live in one of the most culturally diverse cities on the planet. With this comes the ability to share and celebrate festivals from around the world. Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, or the Moon Festival, which is widely celebrated in China and other East and Southeast Asian countries. In honour of the festival, we’ve rounded up a few places in the city where you can get your hands on some mooncakes!

Here’s where you can get a mooncake in Toronto
Nam Dae Moon
Whether you’re downtown or in Scarborough you can enjoy a mooncake at Nam Dae Moon! Their flavours include Matcha and Red Bean, Coconut Cranberry, Mung Bean Lava Snow Skin and Salted Egg Yolk Custard Snow Skin.
This may be every Torontonians first stop for all things Chinese food in the city so it should come as no surprise that they sell mooncakes! Enjoy the festival at home with over 100 mooncake selections at T&T!
If you’re craving a mooncake you need to head over to Bake Code before they sell out (which I’m sure they will). These cakes are delicious AND gorgeous.
Savorology Artisan Bakery
Savorology is an artisan bakery in Toronto that makes everything from scratch. If you don’t know how to make a mooncake at home, this will be the next best thing! Bring the authentic flavour into your own home one mooncake at a time.
