Shock-Frozen Japanese Desserts
The word ‘ito’ itself translates to ‘thread’ in Japanese, and the duo have embraced that as part of their brand value as they’re looking to help people connect with one another over a shared love of all things sweet. The best part about these desserts? Once frozen, they’re guaranteed to remain fresh in the freezer for a month, with only a short time needed to cool down.
The ito Cake Flight comprises of five different cakes with separate flavours. These rotate on a monthly basis, giving way to a huge variety of options to experiment with. Every layer of each cake is shock-frozen separately to ensure that it retains both the shape and the taste. They’re priced at $34.99 and come with instructions on how to thaw the product.
ito Desserts doesn’t offer subscription services at the moment, but they’re working on it. For now, you can place orders for pick-up and delivery through the website here.
