Toronto is home to a multitude of vibrant communities and cultures. It’s these communities, their traditions and cuisines that make the city so unique. This of course, includes Asian cuisine. No matter which part of Asia you want to explore through food, The 6ix has got you covered. This is what inspired the opening of Yaksha, a new restaurant that serves South East Asian rice bowls.

Located at Midtown, the restaurant serves a variety of bowls, each one packed with different flavours. This includes the Busy Bangkok Bowl (basil minced pork, sweet & sour sauce), Malay Satay Bowl (satay chicken, Asian slaw, satay sauce) and many others. You can also find vegetarian options like the Green Curry Bowl and Asian Vegan Bowl.
If none of those suit your fancy, not to worry. Customers have the option to build their own bowls, with their choice of base, protein, vegetables and sauce. Each of the bowls on the menu highlight the flavours of different cities in South East Asia. It is truly a one-stop restaurant for those looking to sample a variety of Asian flavours.
