Another staple stand around the Toronto Underground Market has found a permanent home. Hot Bunzz, the finest in fusion-style baked Chinese bao, has opened up as of this morning at 21 St. Clair Avenue (corner of Yonge and St. Clair). The oven was hot, hot, hot at 11am as Instagram and the Twitterverse erupted in elation over such specialties as Canadian Bison Short Rib buns done in a Korean bulgogi sauce. There’s nothing typical about these steamy snacks. At the same time, there’s nothing typical about our love for them, either.
