Perhaps it’s time to steal New York’s nickname, because Toronto truly is a city that never sleeps. Every night, there’s something fun coming to fruition, whether it’s an invite-only concert, launch party, or celebration of Canadian music in bed. Take a peek inside three of the city’s hottest happenings from the past week, and live vicariously through us.
Consider this your weekend party inspiration.
House of Vans Pop-up at 99 Sudbury
Last weekend, for its second year in a row, Vans hosted a weekend long House of Vans pop-up featuring a community market (complete with a stick n’ poke station), exclusive invite-only concert with Mac DeMarco, Bambii, and RALPH, an art exhibition, and a full size replica of iconic San Fran skate park, Pier 7. Casper x JUNOs Viewing Party at the Thompson Hotel
If you’re constantly debating whether you should stay in bed or go out, you should’ve been at the Casper x JUNOs viewing party for the best of both worlds. Hosted by actress Torri Webster, each group of guests got their own Casper bed for the night, complete with slippers, crazy (much appreciated) clapper clackers, champagne, binge watch-worthy snacks, and JUNOs drinking games. LG G6 Launch Party at Berkeley Church
If there’s anyone who knows how to throw a party, it’s LG. Earlier this week, they hosted the city’s finest folks at Berkeley Church to celebrate the launch of the new LG G6 phone. Notable guests were loaned phones to test out for the evening, and LG set them up with some totally Instagrammable moments including a donut wall, a mini funhouse to test the new dual camera, and a killer performance by Canada’s own Dragonette.
