Twas a long weekend of wonders in and out of the city. Here are some of the pics of Instagram glory that caught our attention…
Adam ate like a king as per usual. Brunch at Rose & Sons is an experience to behold, especially when you’re digging into their broccoli toast.
And of course, being right in front of Big Crow, he had to stop in there and make us all jealous by ordering up the s’mores ice cream sandwich. #POW!
He walked into the office today raving about a hidden gem he tried called Mangia e Bevi. From the funghi nordici to the commendatore pasta to the pippo pizza, it’s not hard to see why he’s so enamoured.
Ms. Nicki was over in Muskoka at Taboo Resort this weekend (lucky gal), relaxing away and noshing like a pro, naturally. This leafy green salad has us re-imagining our diets…
…as does this hen and parsnip puree number from Taboo’s Culinary Theatre. Can’t wait to read her review later this week!
Mideastro Yorkville had us drooling with their out-of-the-box take on a cheese platter. Why don’t all cheese boards have a bit of deep-fried goodness on ’em?
The s’mores bandwagon is trending in the city (obvee), and CHEESEWERKS made an epic take using a base of Rice Crispy squares. Ooh… delicieux!
Vanilla tofu, maple peaches, maple yogurt and almond. That’s all we needed to read to start drooling over DYNE‘s interesting dish.
Bannock‘s cuisine keeps evolving. Case in point: the Tongue + Cheek Po’boy, which was available for one day only for #FDC2013 (Food Day Canada). We missed it, but dayum! Sure looks tasty…
Another Food Day Canada treat for the eyes was Chef Robb Gentile‘s Buca-licious burrata.
The purveyor of pop-up perfection, Fidel Gastros, landed at the Oakville Waterfront Festival to serve up some bacon belly busters.
Is it lunchtime yet?!
