Greek gyros. Bet ya have an idea in your head involving greasy thick pita and greasier meat with questionable hues, right? Wrong. At least insofar as what we’re talking about…
It’s All GRK opened up but a couple weeks ago along the bumping strip of Queen West near Trinity-Bellwoods (756 Queen West to be exact). Haven’t heard of ’em? S’all good, that’s why we’re here.
What we know from chatting with our source (aka one of the owners) is that the chef behind the grab n’ go/casual sit-down spot hails from Greece. He uses only the best in authentic ingredients. This means that spices, oils, and special meats and vegetables are sourced directly from his home country, affording us a true taste of Greek gyros and other noshes.
While no website is up yet, we know it’s coming… and soon. We know that those who’ve eaten there thus far (including a very close, very well respected foodie friend) loved the food. We know it’s adorable inside (we walked by and peeked in a week before it opened), and that we’ll likely be there this weekend on a stroll about town.
For now, head on over to It’s All GRK at 756 Queen Street West for an authentic taste of the Mediterranean nation. (Oh! You can also call 416.703.7888.)
