Hay Sushi
The interior of the newest location encompasses cozy vibes, complete with warm lighting, plants and complementary dining furniture. The menu features much of the best sellers and customer favourites from their original location. This includes sushi and sashimi set menus, torch pressed sushi and more.
But what is it that makes the new menu stand out? It’s the inclusion of Nori Tacos, and Wafu Pasta. While the flavours are inspired by Mexican cuisine, these tacos make use of crispy seaweed as the wrap instead of the classic tortilla. These are available as salmon, tuna, veggie or spicy salmon.
When it comes to the Wafu Pasta, there are five different options to choose from. Creamy Miso, Sukiyaki and Napolitan are some of the flavours. The Japanese sushi spot serves a variety of daily lunch specials as well. The new location is at 530 Eglinton Avenue West and it’s open Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm.
