Pizza Maru
The pizza brand has been a staple in Korea since its launch in 1996. With currently over 650 franchise stores in the country, they had started expanding internationally from 2013. Pizza Maru is most well-known for their special dough, which is prepared using natural grains, and organic green tea. Their dough has also been patented as ‘functional well-being pizza dough’.
Moving on to the menu, their pizza offerings are plenty. At present, customers can choose from three different types, which are Classic, Chicago, and Long Edge. The variety in crusts itself is unique. You’ve got the regular ones, stuffed, thick crusts, and some even come with no crusts at all.
Along with pizzas, the restaurant also serves Korean fried chicken, and fusion dishes with pasta and rice. Sweet Potato Stick, Maru Calamari, French Fries (Heaven), are some of the sides available. The new location for the Korean pizza chain is expected to launch in March at 6048 Yonge Street.
