We all know that Toronto does not joke around when it comes to our pizzas. Whichever part of the city you’re in, you’re bound to find a great spot for this insanely popular dish. And new pizza restaurants only seem to be on the rise. If you’ve ever heard of LA-based pizza joint Burratino Pizza and wanted to try it out yourself, now you can.
With origins in California, Burratino Pizza is known for its brick-oven pizzas. But what makes them stand out is their unique toppings on each pie. Ever had wild boar pepperoni and sausage? They also offer choices like quail egg and duck prosciutto. They also offer artisan pies with a gourmet thin crust and one, two or three to five toppings.
One of their most popular menu items is the 120 Pepperoni Pizza. As the name suggests, it claims to have 120 pieces of pepperoni! Another one of the best-sellers is the Croatian Pizza. Labelled by The LA Times as “perfect”, this pizza comes with beef prosciutto, feta cheese, mushrooms, red peppers and black olives.
