Hello Kittty
Hello Kitty

We all have our individual preferences in life and that’s to be expected – why wouldn’t we, after all? We’re all incredibly different and there are so many different things to take an interest in, that it’s hardly surprising things cross over. Are you a stickler for your favourite movies, music or places, so much so that they affect decisions you make? It’s no wonder then that themes are all the rage, in almost everything we do.

Gaming
In the past, the game was the main focus when you were gaming; now it’s all about appealing to popular culture just as much as it is about creating new popular culture in itself. It makes sense that people’s favourite things would affect even this highly popular industry. For example, pretty much all 32Red pokies are themed – there are over 320 to choose from, and so there’s a lot of people catered to. Whether you love movies or even Christmas, there will be games on the internet to suit you (Microgaming Slot Games seriously have Christmas slots at places like pocketfruity!). 32Red has everything from Tomb Raider onwards, so you’re never going to be playing something dull!

Food
Love cats, but also really love a good cup of coffee? Despite being seemingly unrelated, cat cafes are all the rage. You can literally go and grab a drink and a bite to eat and be surrounded by your feline friends. It’s not just cats – in fact, Japan basically wrote the book on ‘themed cafes’, and there are loads of different ones that you can try. From Alice In Wonderland to vampires to bunny rabbits, there will be a place for you to head (if you ever find yourself in Tokyo!).
Of course, themed food itself is really nothing new. From Hello Kitty toast right through to Barbie spaghetti, you have always been able to combine your weird and wonderful likes with the food that you’re eating!

Yoga
Love cats, but don’t want them around your food? You’re in luck – cat yoga is also a thing, too! It’s also not just cats in this respect either, as there are loads of ways people are merging two aspects of their live in this respect as well. For example, if you’re absolutely in love with London, you can now gaze down at it whilst at you work out, thanks to yoga which literally overlooks the Thames. If vertigo is another of your ‘things’ though, this one might not be for you!

Clothing
Themed clothing is nothing new; music band merchandise is literally a huge industry as proof of that. In fact, these days you can even buy Nirvana and Iron Maiden T Shirts along with your groceries, such is the influence of music on the fashion world. Disney movies are another huge influence on clothing trends, especially for kids. Just think how much ‘Frozen’ is raking in! Stick a pic of Elsa or Anna on even the most hideous T Shirt and you’re bound to get scores of kids who want to buy it.
