And there’s a lot of dishes to perfect. But if you’ve wanted to make the perfect homemade burger, one Toronto chef may be able to help you out with one simple tool: a burger kit.

Not only does The Chef Dan have recipes listed on his site, but he’s also been selling the ultimate burger and pastrami kit. Each of the kit comes with two patties, toppings and a few sweet brioche buns. The patty itself, which is a mix of a 50/50 chuck and short rib, is cooked sous vide. It’s everything you could need to reconstruct the ultimate burger.
If burgers aren’t your thing, not to fret. He also sells sandwich kits to customers, complete with his two-week brined brisket pastrami. You can also find sourdough bagels, mustard and sauerkraut within the kits. The flavour of the brine that seeps through the pastrami includes a blend of coriander and black pepper.

Pre-orders can be placed through DMs on the Instagram page every Monday at noon. Pick-ups for the burger boxes are on Saturday and pastrami boxes are on Sunday. Batches are limited with only about 15 burger and pastrami kits available.
