The US is not the only one that has its share of fast-food restaurant chains, Canada is home to many as well. This includes Mary Brown’s Chicken. The 100% Canadian-owned and operated quick service restaurant first opened its doors back in the late 1960s. Since then, there are now almost 200 locations nationwide. Recently they’ve launched a new menu item. Keep reading to find out what it is.
Starting today, customers can get their hands on the newest menu item, which is the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. That makes it the first non-deep-fried option on the Mary Brown’s Chicken menu.
“When it comes to menu innovation, we pay close attention to providing items that are in-demand by our guests,” Jeff Barlow, Chief Marketing Officer at MBI Brands, the parent company of Mary Brown’s Chicken, said in a press release statement.
The sandwich comprises a grilled chicken breast fillet, tomato, lettuce, red onion and the signature Sidekick sauce. All of this comes on a brioche bun. The sandwiches are made with new in-house specialised ovens.
As part of the launch, the first 25 customers at every branch in the country can get the grilled chicken sandwich for free. This offer is only available in-store, but the sandwich can be ordered through food delivery apps. Want to be among the first 25? Then head over to your nearest Mary Brown’s Chicken in Toronto.
