Have you been dreaming of sandy beaches, clear blue water, and tropical temperatures? Look no further my friends, Toronto has the perfect little escape. At Mi Taco Taqueria you can forget about sub-zero temperatures and indulge in some delicious and authentic Mexican food.
The Story
Mi Taco is owned by mother-daughter duo Lidia and Vanessa Cashera. They are Toronto born and raised but lived in Dallas for a few years where they discovered Mexican cuisine. Lidia traded her Italian recipes for the local’s Mexican ones and fell in love with the culture and the food. They decided to bring their fresh, classic recipes back to Toronto and Mi Taco opened its doors in October 2015.
A recent investment into the business has allowed them to enhance not only the physical appearance of the restaurant, but the food and customer experience. After a two-week renovation, Mi Taco now features an expanded bar and a seated dining area that will transport you straight to a patio in Mexico.
