After the long weekend has come to a close, by Wednesday afternoon you will doubtlessly be in the throws of a melodramatic work-related depression that is set to last until Labour Day. If that is the case, put down the Zoloft and keep the long weekend happiness going by heading over to Momofuku’s Summer Party on Wednesday, August 7th for good food and good music for a good cause.
Hosted at the fabulous Momofuku Daisho, foodies and anybody in-the-know will want to come enjoy the food and drink (provided, naturally, by Momofuku) while Phantom Signal and The Soul Proprietor lay down the evening’s jams. Tickets are $75, with all proceeds going to the City Life Film Project, a programming stream of the Remix Project. FYI, the Remix Project is a super awesome youth-led organization in the Toronto Area that encourages entrepreneurship in young people who want a career in urban arts by developing a six month success plan. Definitely a good cause. High-fives also to Ketel One, Tanqueray, and Beau’s All-Natural Brewing Company for sponsoring the event.
