From pop-ups and food halls to new restaurants opening and old ones returning, the city’s culinary space is certainly thriving. And it couldn’t be a better time, now that winter is behind us and we can look forward to patio dining once more. Speaking of old restaurants making a comeback, Momofuku Toronto’s Kōjin is also one that has recently reopened with a new concept in mind.

Momofuku Toronto’s Kōjin
The main aim of the restaurant is to shine the light on local and seasonal dishes, inspired by ingredients that are produced in Ontario. There’s a also new Chef de Cuisine at the helm, Eric Seto. He has been a part of the Momofuku Toronto team for over five years.
Ever since Kōjin’s opening in 2018, the restaurant has garnered popularity among Torontonians. What really caught people’s attention were the corn flatbreads. The featured flavours include Organic Butter, Spicy Eggplant and Stracciatella Cheese. Wood-fired steaks were yet another Kōjin classic for which diners kept coming back.
Kōjin’s Food And Drinks
While the menu still has many of the previous favourites, a variety of new dishes have been added as well. This especially includes the charcoal grilled section, which now contains Beef Coulotte, Roasted Cabbage, Bone-In Pork Belly and Ember potatoes.
And although you might be coming for the food, you can stay for the drinks too. The bar’s beverage menu hosts an extensive list of cocktails, beer and other refreshments. They’re not kidding around with their wine selection either, with everything from rosé and white wine to sparkling and red wine.
Momofuku Toronto’s Kōjin is open every Thursday to Saturday during the evenings for dinner. There are limited walk-ins available as well. Reservations can be made online through the website here.
