Nail Diva: The Solution to Social Distancing Nail Care Struggles

These unprecedented times that we’re in due to COVID-19 have certainly changed how we do many everyday things.  Working out, eating, socializing and of course our beauty regimens.  Before all this started, I was definitely someone who really enjoyed the ritual of getting my nails done regularly.  I would feel almost incomplete without a fresh coat of polish on my hands and toes; and lets just say I never felt the most “equip” to do my own nails.

With social distancing practices in place, not being able to go to the salon has definitely been an adjustment.  On the plus side, it’s allowing me to go back to the basics and take risks… Like taking care of my nails…myself. I just can’t ever seem to get it right. Who knew colouring between the lines could be so difficult? 😉

The struggle is real!

Believe me when I say… I am no professional, so the chances that I’ll make a mistake while doing my nails is pretty high. To my frustration, there is nothing worse than being almost done (or done), messing one up… going back to fix it, to then mess up a bunch of others in the process just from holding the acetone soaked cotton pad.

The solution: Nail Diva

Nail Diva

The Nail Diva, produced by a female run Toronto based company, makes it really easy to fix nail polish mistakes on both your fingers and toes without ruining the rest of your mani or pedi. It’s also great for removing chipped nail polish and scraping off the tough glitter nail polish. Nail Diva is a wide mouthed clip ergonomically designed for nail polish removal, that holds a cotton ball or cotton pad dipped in nail polish remover. Seems simple right, but it works–and is cost effective too.

As we all make adjustments and do more things on our own, a tool like Nail Diva definitely comes in handy when doing your own nails. I loved it, and am quite sure you will too.
