About Training Lane
All Lanes are eight feet wide to maintain physical distancing, deep cleaned between visits and can be reserved using the Training Lane mobile app available for iOS and Android for fast and touchless lane booking. One-hour sessions start as low as $20 with a package.
The gym features a private Infrared Sauna and Cold Plunge Shower which improves relaxation, sleep, and post workout recovery. For those looking to capture their social content, Training Lane provides complimentary tripods. It is also a plastic-free gym and an inclusive environment with gender-neutral and fully accessible washrooms.
“We are thrilled to introduce Training Lane, a new gym born out of a desire to put personal trainers and everyday fitness enthusiasts in the driver’s seat by offering them the equipment, private space, flexibility and safety they need,” said Sophie Matis, Owner, Training Lane. “Two years in the making, our space and concept are purposefully designed to help you meet your optimal fitness goals on your terms.”
Sophie Matis
The gym is a female founded brand owned and operated by Sophie Matis who immigrated to Canada from Hungary. Sophie transitioned into the health and wellness industry following her successful road to recovery after experiencing extensive nerve damage and burnout. It was through working with personal trainers and many dedicated hours in the gym that Sophie saw an opportunity to create a more accessible and innovative workout space that better serves today’s trainer and gym goer.
