It’s summertime so that means it’s also sandal season. For one reason or another, many of us are self-conscious when exposing our feet. Let’s be real, they are a little weird. While having your next anxiety attack over how you’re gonna rock those gladiators, ask yourself, “When was the last time I pumiced my feet?” Chances are, it’s probably been a while. It’s time-consuming, not especially relaxing, and frankly feels like something you’d see on the Real Housewives of Bedrock. Consequently, chances are you also probably have feet that are rougher and tougher than those of a Nepalese Sherpa. Unless your summer holidays include some fire-walking, it’s time to get rid of all that dry, dead skin. Luckily, we’ve found a solution.
The MICRO Pedi is a small, battery-operated device that spins a micro-mineral roller at a crazy 30-times a second. It feels very gentle, even pleasant, and gently buffs off calluses, corns and dry skin while also exfoliating certain areas of your feet. The rollers come in three colours: pink (mildest), blue (extra coarse), and blue-gold (super coarse), which are replaceable and interchangeable. It’s quick and easy (I was honestly absentmindedly using mine while writing this article) and you notice smoother, baby pink feet after about a week of use. Using moisturizer afterwards helps, too. It comes for both women and men, with the former looking kind of like an electric razor and the latter like something halfway between a pager and a taser.
