The 6ix is home to an endless selection of burger restaurants to choose from. They each stand out in their own way with menus that serve different styles of burgers all over. One such restaurant is Jumbo Burgers. And now one of Toronto’s popular burger joints is about to open a new location later this year.
The restaurant has been in business since 1972, celebrating 50 years next year. Over that time, Jumbo Burgers has become known for their old-school style look and feel and serving the classic hamburgers and cheeseburgers. The banquet burgers are also a popular item on the menu, which is a combination of cheese and bacon. They also offer a selection of hot dogs like Cheese Dog and Cheese Dog with Bacon.
Along with burgers, the restaurant offers Greek classics like gyros, steak on kaiser and souvlaki (chicken or pork). In the mood for some fish and chips instead? They’ve got you covered. Halibut Fish & Chips and Fish on a Kaiser are some of the options.
The popular burger joint will be opening its new branch at 96 Rexdale Blvd. in Etobicoke in the next couple of months. In the meantime, you can still check out their original location at Dundas and Runnymede and they’re available on Uber Eats for takeout and delivery.
