We all strut around town with brand-name designers and well-known logos (we’re looking at you, Nike swoosh-heads). But what happens when we take those logos and brand-vertisements to our cars? Is it just as acceptable to have our cars plastered with ads or is it a serious faux-pas?
Enter CommutingPays, where they’re doing just that. These guys are taking advertising to a whole mobile (literally) level. They’ve started a new program where they’re paying commuters to place ads on their cars! Getting paid without actually having to do any work is the ultimate dream, and that dream just became reality. CommutingPays is offering $150 a month, and all you need to do is give up your rear window to an advertisement. (Hey, at least it’s not your soul, right?) Cha-Ching!
For those looking to make a quick buck or two, you can check out their website and fill out a questionnaire to see if you qualify to be in the program. As long as you’re a good driver in the GTA (nil to minimal traffic violations, accidents, and no exterior damage to your vehicle) with a car and valid auto-insurance, you could be the perfect fit. Once you’ve qualified, the company will set up an ad that’s best suited for your car and install it on your rear window. It’s completely safe and legal (or so they say), so you won’t be driving blind, which is always a plus!
But the real question here is: Would people actually drive around town with an ad stuck to their rear window…? So not chic!
