Save the date! The Royal Ontario Museum is getting in on the fun and celebrating Canada’s 150th by throwing a huge party, gala style.
As many of you already know, Canada turns 150 this year and what better way to celebrate than by throwing a huge bash?
The Royal Ontario Museum, Canada’s largest museum of natural history and world cultures, recently announced that they’ll be throwing a huge party to celebrate the milestone. Presented by CIBC and dubbed the ROM Ball, the event promises to be unforgettable and will also raise funds in support of the museum.
The party, which takes place on May 6, 2017, will be a red-carpet affair with a cocktail reception, a majestic dinner in the Samuel Hall Currelly Gallery, and an after-party with live performances and dancing. In addition to the huge event, the ROM’s Canada 150 offerings also include exhibitions like Anishinaabeg: Art & Power, Family Camera, and Out of Depths: The Blue Whale Story.
