With just under two months until the provincial election, Ontario is charged with political energy. Despite talks of politics, the beauty of Canadian federalism leaves our federal candidates with some time to relax, sit back and watch the show. Okay maybe politicians never really have time to relax BUT federal NDP leader, Jagmeet Singh, was spotted enjoying a meal with his wife at one of Toronto’s beloved restaurants, DaiLo.

This past weekend, Jagmeet Singh was spotted enjoying a meal at one of Toronto’s most popular Asian restaurants, DaiLo. The hotspot posted some photos of Jagmeet and the team on their Instagram with the caption “Shout out to NDP leader Jagmeet Singh for joining us this past weekend. It was a pleasure meeting you and sharing our #sickasianfood experience for your night out!”
Jagmeet is seen posing with the staff in the kitchen and in a booth with his wife, Gurkiran Kaur Sidhu, and Nick Liu, owner of DaiLo. Everyone appears to be pleased with his visit in the photos as it’s not everyday a federal party leader (and TikTok star) shows up at your restaurant!
