What happens when a fashion-forward twentysomething, who started off as the e-commerce manager of The Coveteur, decides to let go of her enviable job and start something of her own? Why, she creates an insanely insatiable website aptly titled TheStrategy.ca, of course.
Meet Canadian Natasha Lawrence, a self-proclaimed fashion lover who founded said site to offer a new and intimate look into fashion with the pride of being a Canadian-born website. The site looks into the wardrobes of some of today’s top tastemakers and influencers, and showcases intimate stories and tales into each individual’s outfits and closets. Basically, The Strategy gives us insight on what makes the featured people choose the outfits they do, and how they put themselves together – from accessories to shoes, straight down to the full ensemble. If you’re anything like us, this site is a dream come true as we get to go behind closed doors and into the psyches (and closets) of those with the most admirable taste.
“The Strategy was built on one simple concept: showcasing an individual’s strategy when they are selecting an outfit in the morning or how they created a specific look through fashion,” says Natasha Lawrence, founder of TheStrategy.ca. “From the celebrity to the aspiring business professional, everyone has a strategy when it comes to how they build their wardrobe and how they dress.”
The site has launched with features on the following fashionable individuals: Nicky Hilton, Anine Bing (Designer), Carole Tannenbaum, Elyse Walker, Erin Kleinberg (designer and founder of The Coveteur), Lesley Arfin (Screenwriter), Aliya-Jasmine Sovani (MTV Canada host), and Mark O’Brien (Actor, CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries).
To learn more about why a celebrity selects a specific dress for a red carpet gala or how a business professional livens up a traditional white blouse, visit TheStrategy.ca to gain a more intimate look into the wardrobes of these amazing individuals. Don’t forget to follow them on Tumblr, Instagram and Twitter.
