This summer, the infamous markets will get even better as it welcomes some of Toronto’s top chefs and restaurants for a Summerhill Market pop-up series curated by Stephanie Dickison that will last for a full year.
The Summerhill Market, led by owner Brad McMullen has been a neighbourhood grocery staple in Rosedale since 1954. They always place importance on local produce and health products. All while providing their community with a variety of options including gluten-free, vegan, paleo and grain-free items.
And it’s about to get even better. Starting Friday, June 1, 2018, the store welcomes Toronto’s top chefs and restaurants for a yearlong pop-up series. Some of the well-known restaurants you can expect are:
- Flock Rotisserie + Greens
- Smoke Signals Bar-B-Q
- Patois
- The Anne Boleyn
- Ruby Watchco
- Contra Cafe
How does the Summerhill Market pop up work?
Each restaurant will feature a unique and special dish. They will be only available for purchase at both Summerhill Market locations (Summerhill Ave & Mount Pleasant Rd). Each item in the series will be available for a limited time, from the first to the end of the month. Outside of visiting the restaurant, the market will be the only store to carry the dishes. The series kicks off in June with Celebrity Chef Cory Vitiello’s Flock salads which have a cult following among health enthusiasts. Get them before they are gone!
