The pandemic had undoubtedly brought a lot of annual events to a halt. As such, many have had to go on a one- or two-year hiatus, like Summerlicious in Toronto. And while the world isn’t completely out of the woods yet, events and festivals are slowly making a return in an attempt at normalcy. Which is why it’s definitely exciting to see that the popular food festival in The 6ix is also one that’s making a return this summer.
Summerlicious in Toronto
It must surely be a welcome news for the restaurant industry as customers usually flock to places across the city to sample a whole variety of menus. As is always the case, participating restaurants 3-course prix fixe menu, either for lunch and/or dinner. This includes an appetizer, main course dish and dessert. Customers will have at least three options to choose from for each course.
In light of all that has happened due to the pandemic effects, Summerlicious has made it more convenient and hassle-free for restaurants to be a part of the festival. For one, there is no longer a participation fee. Not just that, but they’ve also offered restaurants increased flexibility when it comes to setting the price with new categories.
Summerlicious 2022 is set to take place from August 12 to 28. Applications for restaurants to participate will open on April 14 and run until April 29.
