Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes of a premium alcohol brand? Vv Magazine’s Grayson Miller travelled all the way to New York to get a (literal) taste of what premium scotch brand Glenmorangie is all about.

These principles are the same principles that Glenmorangie Scotch Whisky view as gospel and as luck would have it, the Vv team was invited to New York by Glenmorangie to see, taste and experience perfection up close.
For Glenmorangie, perfection isn’t just something to strive for, it’s a way of life. For over 173 years, Glenmorangie Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been created in the Scottish Highlands where at their Distillery, it is distilled in the tallest malt whisky stills in Scotland and expertly matured in the finest oak casks. The scotch brand is renowned as a pioneer in its field, uniting tradition with innovation to create ‘unnecessarily well-made whiskies’.
The idea of perfection is something that Glenmorangie truly took to heart when inviting Vv Magazine to New York. The overall experience was wonderful and not only did we get to taste and experience the latest cask offerings, we were treated to a preview of their latest collaborative effort in the ultimate New York party setting. Only working with brands that espouse to their same idea of perfection, Glenmorangie teamed up with Finlay & Co, a British-based sunglass brand that produces high-end luxury sunglasses and are renowned for their stylish wooden-framed glasses.
The two brands have created something that we consider ‘perfect’. Together Glenmorangie and Finlay & Co. were able to produce limited edition sunglasses created from Glenmorangie malt whisky casks. Finlay & Co. has an affinity for creating with wood and the specially crafted whisky cask. The glasses are each individually numbered and ooze a level of luxury and sophistication that we fell in love with.
Aside from making perfect scotch whisky and collaborating with amazing brands, Glenmorangie is reaching for perfection in a new arena. They recently launched a digital communication platform dubbed ‘Unseen’. The new platform is the ultimate experience for whisky lovers, giving them a look at the creation of Glenmorangie whisky, how artists go to great lengths to perfect their craft, and the lifestyle of whisky connoisseurs all over the world.
