The Brothers Dubé might still be teenagers, but please don’t call them Canada’s boy band. The three siblings write their own music and have been refining their skills in front of live audiences since before most even get braces or remove training wheels. We caught up with the young musicians to find out what life has been like growing up in the spotlight and what they do in their down time.
Give us a snippet about you. What should people know?
Even though we’re young, even though we’re brothers, we’re not a boy band. Rock is alive and well in our blood, and we’re carrying the torch. We believe music is about moments and that what we do off the stage is as important as on, especially in our case with what we stand for… do it yourself! We’ve found out from our fans that we’re the “real deal.” We write and perform all of our own music, straight up analogue… live… no auto-tune and no posing! We cover the hardest tunes we can think of… we used to be all humble about it but we hear over and over from people after shows that they’re blown away by the fact that we deliver on stage show after show.
