Booze, killer tunes and the chance to throw your two cents in about who Canada’s next great artist should be? Enter Art Battle, the best Tuesday night plans you’ve never had… until now. The latest Toronto edition Art Battle is happening tonight at The Great Hall at 7:30pm. Founders Chris Pemberton and Simon Plashkes have been hosting the artistic throwdown across Canada for five editions and counting, but we’d rather have them explain it to you in their own words. We’ll see you there tonight!
Give us a snippet about you. What should people know?

Describe Art Battle to someone who’s never experienced it before.
Art Battle is live competitive painting. Across three rounds, 12 painters will compete for the title of AB66 champion. The winner of each round (and the final) is decided by audience vote. The AB66 Champion will be invited to compete at the Toronto Finals in June, and possibly the National Championships in July.
