From the boys that brought you one of Toronto’s most noteworthy dive bars, The Wide Open, and the restaurant best known for its foie gras menu, Trevor Kitchen & Bar, comes a hip new restaurant The Tavern by Trevor. Executive Chef and co-owner Trevor Wilkinson along with co-owner Mike “Yuker” Yaworski promise comfort food at its best, always using fresh, seasonal and regional ingredients. The dynamic duo have carefully selected wines, spirits and ales that pair perfectly with the mouth watering food served on their menu.
Located on Spadina just north of Richmond, the restaurant vibe is bistro casual with urbanity, offering guests creatively concocted cocktails paired with Chef Trevor’s sophisticated comfort food menu. The menu is sectioned by category (bar food, salads, from the grill etc.) where each offers several items all priced the same. Weekends at the Tavern is the time for bacon lovers to rejoice with their bacon heavy brunch menu. We’ll be paying them a visit soon as the menu has some stand out items like the Tavern Burger (6oz kobe with horseradish mayo, catsup, smoked cheddar & caramelized onion), the Herb Chicken, Bacon, Shrimp & Kale Salad with horseradish vinaigrette & parmesan and their Lobster Benedict with double smoked bacon, brioche & béarnaise offered during brunch.

Whether you want to enjoy a salad at lunch or bar snacks and libations after work, The Tavern promises to provide the best atmosphere and please all your taste buds. With 20 plus years experience in the bar/restaurant industry, these guys are known for showing their guests a good time. Officially opened on March 26th, The Tavern is open for business everyday from 11am until late.
