Nothing says summer like a good group of friends, a patio, and a pint of your favourite brew. Beer truly is the unofficial drink of summer – BBQs aren’t complete without it, and you can’t enjoy a baseball game without a tall frosty one by your side. It’s no surprise that we are thrilled to be covering the 18th Annual Beer Festival taking place from Friday July 27 through to Sunday July 29 at Bandshell Park.
Toronto’s Festival of Beer is a celebration of you guessed it, beer! It will feature over 200 different brands on site, and it will be hosted by brewing experts from all over the world. To go with everyone’s favorite brew there will be tons of entertainment. Even world famous grill chef Ted Reader will be at the grill tent dishing out some tasty tips for all the aspiring grill masters! Tons of great bands will be on the main stage throughout the festival including Salt-N-Pepa and Kreesha Turner. Along with all this entertainment, ticket holders have the chance to get a real brand experience to discover more about the brand of beer that they already love. This year a new pavilion is being introduced to the show – The World of Beer Pavilion. Each year a different country will be featured at the pavilion and this year it will be Quebec. Highlights of beers and food from Quebec will be on display at this new pavilion within the festival.
The 18th Annual Beer Festival has so much to serve from entertainment, food and of course the reason for all existence, beer! So ’round up your favorite drinkin’ buddies and spend your weekend celebrating your favorite brewski!
