Welcome to the Gay Agenda, where Vv Magazine rounds up the latest and gayest in LGBT news in Toronto, Canada and abroad.

Toronto’s beloved Hen House shutters

A small part of us has died after the announcement that the Henhouse, Toronto’s most divey west-end queer dance spot, is no longer. Known for debaucherous dance parties that jammed to everything from Dolly Parton to Missy Elliott, the Dundas West bar shuttered on June 28. The abrupt departure leaves a gaping, chicken-shaped hole in Toronto’s queer party scene.

Katherine Heigl goes gay-for-pay

The world’s most hated human being, Katherine Heigl (don’t celebrate, Anne Hathaway, you’re #2), is trying to win over our hearts by starring in a lesbian rom-com. The trailer for Jenny’s Wedding tells the story of how Heigl comes out to her ultra conservative parents and gets engaged to her roommate, played by Alexis Bledel.

We’re guessing this one will get filed under Netflix’s sad little portfolio of LGBT films, but who knows.

Munich is queering its traffic lights

In an adorable display of German cuteness, the city of Munich has added images of same-sex couples to its crossing lights just in time for their Pride celebration on July 11. The girl-girl and guy-guy couples even have little hearts floating around their heads. According to the Advocate, members of Munich’s right-wing Christian Social Union tried to stop the plan when it was initially tabled at a city council meeting. Obviously, they failed. #LoveWins

Gay CrossFitters are the fittest CrossFitters

In case you missed it, Out Magazine did a photo series with a group of gay crossfitters. You probably shouldn’t miss it.

John Legend’s butt > Justin Bieber’s butt

In butt news, Bieber’s behind has been blowing up our screens. But the best butt belongs to the babe-worthy John Legend, whose sometimes terrible wife, supermodel Chrissy Teigen, posted this photo on Instagram. Ten points for you, Chrissy.
