It’s no secret that this has been a crazy year for everyone, especially parents. They’ve got more on their plate now more than ever, thanks to quarantines and lockdowns. They could definitely use a break and that’s where The Kids’ Table comes in. Started by two entrepreneurial working moms and one tech-savvy son, the online kids’ meal company in Toronto prepares and delivers children’s meals for the week.
The meals are not only healthy and delicious, but they’re also made with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients with no artificial colours or flavours. There is no subscription needed and parents can order multiple meals that are chef-crafted and kid-friendly.

The company has also partnered with McEwan Fine Foods and has been working with Corporate Executive Chef, Shen Ousmand and Director of Communications, Jessica Rodrigues.
Items featured on the menu include Spaghetti Cupcakes (spaghetti nests with slow-cooked beef and green beans), Yes Please Mac ‘N Trees (extra-cheddar-cheesy macaroni with lightly steamed broccoli) and Mexi-Can-Can Chicken (zesty Mexican chicken with rice, corn and red peppers).

Each meal is priced around $8, depending on the package. There are different options available, including ready-to-eat and freezable meals. All the meals and snacks are delivered in recyclable food trays and are heat-sealed for freshness. Orders can be made online at thekidstable.ca and parents can choose 6, 9 or 12 kids’ meals for the week.
