Need a new brunch spot this weekend? If you haven’t, you might find some options from OpenTable’s annual list of Top 100 Brunch Restaurants in Canada. The names of restaurants have been put together by combing through more than 1.3 million diner reviews and metrics, including diner ratings and the percentage of restaurant reviews diners tagged as “brunch”.
OpenTable’s Top 100 Brunch Restaurants List
Out of the 100 restaurants on the list, 50 are Ontario-based, with 19 right here in Toronto. According to the data gathered by OpenTable, more than half of Canadians (51%) plan on dining out for Mother’s Day. It was also found that almost a fifth of Canadians (18%) are expecting to spend somewhere between $81 – $100 per person on their meals for the special occasion.
“Canadians love to go all out for Mother’s Day — last year, it was the biggest dining day of 2023, and new research shows Canadians plan to spend more dining out for the holiday compared to last year,” Canada Country Director Matt Davis said in a press release statement.
