Here are some things to do in Toronto this week:
Mixto Festival
Celebrate all things music with the Mixto Festival. Taking place from August 20 – 22, the event offers two afternoons and three nights of music and food. It’s a representation of all the different cultures that call Toronto home. Tickets for the event can be purchased on the website here.
CODA Toronto
One of the city’s most popular nightclubs is back. Guests can enjoy the club’s REBOOT 8-part event series, with free entry before 10:30 p.m. The event is set to feature various electronic recording artists. The series is running until August 28 and details about the lineup can be found here.
Music at RendezViews
Toronto’s largest outdoor patio is only getting more and more exciting with different events. One such is Live Music Thursdays, with a variety of artists and tunes. 6IX Flow
The same team behind spin studio 6IX Cycle is opening the hot new yoga practice, 6IX Flow. Starting today, flow classes are priced at $5 all of this week and the weekend. And the entire experience is music-driven. You can book your timings and sessions online here.
The Bubble
Canada’s first inflatable entertainment complex, The Bubble, opens today. The 10,000 square foot inflatapark is filled with a laser tag course, giant slides and more. Visitors can even play games at the arcade. Ticket purchases and bookings can be made through the website.
The Roundhouse Farmers’ Market
You can now enjoy a new farmers’ market every Sunday from 11 am – 3 pm. The Roundhouse Farmers’ Market features vegetables, meats and baked goods from more than a dozen local vendors. It is situated at 255 Bremner Boulevard, the same location as Steam Whistle Brewing.
