Toronto Outdoor Picture Show
Movie under the stars anyone? The TO Picture Show will be screening a collection of movies all August long. The line-up is based on the theme of TOPS & Friends, which is about celebrating the outdoor film community and scene. Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N
Avengers, assemble! The Yorkdale mall is now home to a large Avengers exhibition featuring rooms focused on the different Marvel superheroes. Fans will also be able to check out props, statuses and more. Tickets are currently available for purchase on the website here.
Let’s Do Summer Pop-Up
Explore a summer paradise without having to leave the city. Creative food and drinks await customers at this unique pop-up, located at 621 Richmond Street. The colourful pop-up also features outdoor activities and even a wine garden! It is operating until August 16 and general entry is for free. Tickets are however required for the wine tasting, which can be purchased online.
Sugar Rush Toronto
This candy-themed park offers a one-of-a-kind open air experience. The entire space hosts installations, art displays and parade floats. Did we mention that is an array of delicious treats and sweets to indulge in as well? Sugar Rush Toronto will be open from August 6 to September 6 and tickets are available for purchase here.
Ever heard of a French taco? If not, now’s your chance to try it at Toronto’s newest eatery, Brick’N’Cheese. Each taco includes a tortilla wrapping, filled with fries, cheese and meats. There are plenty of options on the menu including beef, chicken, fish and vegetables as well. You can find this spot at 678 College Street, Toronto.
Enjoy one of Toronto’s most immersive art experience with Beyond Monet. The three part multi-sensory journey uses a blend of music, sound effects, and projection. The exhibition will feature some of Monet’s classics and masterpieces. It will open on August 5 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Tickets can be purchased online here.E
Take an enchanting night walk at the Toronto Zoo with Terra Lumina. The magical experience comprises of vibrant lighting, special effects and projections. Tickets for purchase are available online from August 5 and the slots for timing start from 9:30 pm.
